This Toronto conference scheduled for August 2001 will bring together economics and accounting scholars to present and discuss theoretical and empirical papers addressing the coordination of organizational activities using management accounting. The objective will be to examine management accounting as a source of information for control from multiple transaction cost economics perspectives: theoretical/analytical, economic history, analytical, experimental, and survey. Selected papers from the proceedings will be published by Edward Elgar as a volume in the APF series. Presenters will be invited, as well there will be a call for papers.
